The New Homestead Is Coming Along Nicely.

This place had black mold, faulty wiring, plumbing issues, bad ventilation, caved in floors and a bad gas leak. Turns out we weren't very well received by the locals. These small mountain communities aren't very friendly to out of towners. Resources are very limited in remote areas like this and are very expensive. Building supplies are easily twice the price of what we were paying in Illinois. It's important to be as self sufficient as possible when moving to another world like this.
