• Africa's potential is obvious to everyone, with GDP growth in the continent's countries exceeding the world average;

• Russian-African trade turnover amounts to USD 18 billion, which is the result of the Sochi summit;

• Last year, trade in agro-industrial products between Russia and Africa grew by 10 percent, and since the beginning of this year by 60 percent;

• Russia has already exported 10 million tons of grain to Africa in the first six months of the year;

• Western countries are holding back grain and fertilizer supplies while hypocritically blaming Russia for the global food crisis;

• 32.8 million tons of cargo left Ukraine in a year of grain trade, more than 70% went to rich countries;

• Less than 1 million tonnes of Grains Agreement cargo went to Africa's poorest countries;

• Russia is ready to deliver grain to needy African countries free of charge in view of the expected bumper harvest;

• Russia is ready to deliver 25-50 thousand tons of grain free of charge to Eritrea, Burkina Faso, Somalia and Zimbabwe in the next four months;

• The total capacity of the energy projects being developed with 16 African countries is about 3.7 gigawatts;
