Bud Light made the cardinal business mistake: They ruined their trust with their consumers. For months now, they have been paying the price; because no one is paying them. The stock prices for inBev, Anheuser Busch's parent company, may be up, but they are still under the price the brand started the year at and far off their yearly high.

Bars are now taking to the news of mass layoffs as reason to remove the beer from the bar, if they had been holding off on the choice. A bar in Buffalo, New York, just made the switch to a competitor as no one wants to drink the formerly best selling brew in the country.

The failure was earned but no one anticipated it would be this quick.
