United Airlines installs Braille to help visually impaired passengers

United Airlines announced Thursday that it has equipped about twelve airplanes with Braille markings to aid visually impaired passengers during their flights, becoming the first U.S. domestic airline to implement the tactile signage on its aircraft. The airline says it plans to install Braille in its entire mainline fleet by the end of 2026.
