THIS Saturday (March 5) marks the 80th anniversary of the first Spitfire flight  and the most iconic of British fighter planes could soon be making a more frequent appearance in UK skies. The Spitfire Club, is embarking on an ambitious project to build a whole squadron of 12 new Spitfires. The team already has two of the planes completed, with another one under construction and due by the end of 2016. The Spitfire Club is aiming to ensure ordinary people have access to the legendary aircraft, a policy that extends to the construction of the aircraft.
