Alright. Thank you very much and hello again, my dear radio friend. How in the world are you? You’re doing all right today? Well, sure, I wait for you to answer because I know some of you do. And we have our own little thing going, don’t we, you and I? And I ask you a question and you answer and we both know that we’re both there even though we can’t see each other. Thanks for being there on the listening end, and I trust that what we have today from God’s inerrant, infallible, eternal Word, the Bible, may be of blessing and help and inspiration and comfort to you, my beloved friend. I cherish these times together with you. It does something for my own soul to look into God’s words and share it with you, precious friends.

We’re looking at II Peter Chapter 1 and the subject is things that you can add to your own life and personality through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Now, remember, Peter says that you already have everything you need to be a success as a Christian. “His divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness through the knowledge of Him who hath called us to glory and virtue.” You got it all already at Calvary. He gave it to you. Everything you need to be a success as a Christian is yours. What implements all of these is the Word of God. Exceeding great and precious promises that by these, promises that is, by these you might be partakers of the divine nature have escaped the corruption that is in the world through unbridled desire.

So you’ve already got everything you need to be a success and you can cash in on it through the Word of God hidden in your heart and mind and in the computer of your mind that cranks things out under the proper stimulus, partakers of the divine nature. God’s very personality profile reduplicated in you, believer, the fruit of the Spirit, the result of the Holy Spirit being in control is love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance. The profile of the divine nature reduplicated in you and in me who were originally candidates for nothing other than judgment in hell. By the grace of God in the wonderful working of His Holy Spirit and through the Word of God in our lives, His very nature can be reduplicated in our hearts and lives. That’s wonderful, isn’t it? Praise God for His matchless grace and His love and His mercy to us.
