Rasmussen Polls: Trump Maintains Huge Lead and DeSantis Looks Like He's Toast

Republican voters overwhelmingly favor former President Donald Trump as their party’s nominee in next year’s primaries.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 57% of Likely Republican Voters would vote for Trump, while 13% would vote for Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis as the GOP nominee. Other 2024 candidates have single-digit support among Republican voters: Former Vice President Mike Pence (5%), former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (5%), South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott (4%), former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley (4%), former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson (4%) and businessman Vivek Ramaswamy (3%).
