Allie-Mae, the owner of a small diner in a quiet town in Kansas, shares her unique game of listening to strangers' stories in exchange for a discount on their meals. She enjoys the break from the monotony of small-town life and believes in the power of offering a listening ear. Among the stories she hears, one recurring theme is horror. Allie-Mae recalls a young woman who encountered a terrifying stalker that she believed to be something supernatural. The woman's experiences were chilling and left her physically and emotionally scarred. Allie-Mae's compassion and desire to help are evident as she offers comfort to the woman and hopes for her eventual return to share a triumphant story.
