Ingredients:
1 pound (450g) frozen French fries
1 pound (450g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into small pieces
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup milk
2 tablespoons butter
Optional toppings: diced tomatoes, sliced green onions, cooked bacon bits
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to the temperature specified on the package of frozen French fries. Bake the fries according to the instructions until they are crispy and golden brown.
While the fries are baking, season the chicken pieces with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a little bit of oil. Cook the chicken until it's browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Set aside.
In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the milk and shredded cheddar cheese. Stir constantly until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth and creamy. Remove from heat.
Once the fries are done baking, remove them from the oven and transfer them to an oven-safe dish or baking sheet. Arrange the cooked chicken pieces on top of the fries.
