Speaker McCarthy: DOJ holds two different tiers of accountability for Biden and Trump

Speaking to reporters in the Capitol Friday, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) said his concerns with former President Donald Trump’s classified documents case lie with the different standards of accountability he’s held to in comparison to President Biden. Rep. McCarthy pointed out how Biden has never faced prosecution for his mishandling of classified documents, noting that he possessed documents dating back to his tenure in the Senate.
