Why did this Plane perform at go around at Gibraltar Airport

Go around at Gibraltar. A20N has to abort its landing to runway 27 because of low clouds. I've seen this happen before at Gib because of the clouds. The weather here at the Strait of Gibraltar contributes to why Gibraltar is often ranked as a top 10 most dangerous airport in the world.

The wind that day was also shift, which caused the rest of the landing planes for the morning to use runway 09. It was a great day to watch planes at Gibraltar.

I love how these planes land on a runway surrounded on all sides by water. This is a must watch to see how close to the water these planes land and take off. There are very few airports in the world like this, that could support commercial airline jets to land and take off under such extreme conditions.

Gibraltar is one of the most dangerous airports in the world because the runway is short, it is surrounded by water on both ends of the runway, an international roadway bisects the runway with cars, bikes and people on foot crossing. The weather caused by the Strait of Gibraltar can lead to brutal crosswinds. The pilots who land here have to be specially qualified. Flights to Gibraltar are currently only from the United Kingdom. Gibraltar International Airport is technically a military airport not a civilian one.
