Aug. 7, 1963 | Pierre Salinger Announces Birth of Patrick Bouvier Kennedy

Aug. 7, 1963 - White House Press Secretary Pierre Salinger announced that a second son, Patrick Bouvier Kennedy, was born today to President and Mrs. Kennedy at Otis Air Force base on Cape Cod. The boy was born 5½ weeks premature, according to Dr. John Walsh, Mrs. Kennedy’s personal physician and obstetrician.
