This is the 16th Netball World Cup since the first tournament was held in 1963 in Eastbourne, England.The Netball World Cup 2023 will take place in Cape Town South Africa from the 28th of July to the 6th of August 2023. This is the first senior World Cup to be hosted on Africa soil. Based on the World Netball regions the Americas has hosted three World Cups (1971, 1979, 2003), Asia five (1967, 1983, 1991, 2011, 2015), Europe four (1963, 1987, 1995, 2019) and Oceania three (1975, 1999, 2007).
