We read of Hezekiah receiving the word of the Lord from Prophet Isaiah, Sennacherib king of Assyria blasphemes the Lord, Hezekiah praying for deliverance, which the Lord grants, and Sennacherib flees and is killed, as the Lord had spoken. The Psalms are psalms of praise to the Lord.
