Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky visited the Transfiguration Cathedral in the southern port city of Odesa on Thursday, July 27, following an attack at the site last weekend. The cathedral, which was a designated UNESCO World Heritage site, was hit last Sunday during a strike that injured 22 people, including four children, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs,. Following the attack, Zelensky said Russia carried out the strikes, while the Russian Ministry of Defense said the damage was likely due to a falling Ukrainian air defense missile, TASS reported.
