Russia and China conduct joint Pacific naval patrol

Russia and China began joint maritime patrols in the Pacific Ocean. The warships departed from Vladivostok and began moving along a route agreed by the parties, the Russian Defense Ministry said. The goal of joint patrols is to strengthen naval cooperation between the countries, and maintain peace and stability in the Asia-Pacific region, the ministry added.
