Sound Of Freedom: The Movie That Hollywood DOESN'T Want You To Watch (And Why You Need To) | Nat

The movie Sound of Freedom, released on July 4th and starring Jim Caviezel, is based on the real life efforts of Tim Ballard who has dedicated a majority of his life to fight child sex trafficking. While this may not seem at first like the best subject for a summer movie hit, it has become one as more and more people find the courage to watch it and begin to understand why it is so important for everyone to see it.
However, the mainstream media and Hollywood don't seem to agree, either because they -for some strange reason- don't want the public discussing child sex trafficking, or because it is a threat to the industry as an independent movie with a tiny budget that is making a big impact reaching all the way to #1 in the box office.

The movie was filmed and finished all the way back in 2018-2019, produced and directed by two Mexicans: Eduardo Verástegui and Alejandro Monteverde and was originally owned by 21st Century Fox Latinoamerica. However, after The Walt Disney Company bought Fox, they stopped the release of the film. During the pandemic, none of the streaming services wanted to release it either. It eventually found its new home at Angel Studios and was quickly released on US Independence Day 2023. While currently only available in Canada and the US in limited theatres, it will release worldwide in the coming months.

You can either let the mainstream tell you what and how to think, or you can watch it yourself and make that decision independently.
