▫️ Warships of the Navy of Russia and the Navy of China have begun to carry out the tasks of the third joint maritime patrol of the Pacific Ocean.

▫️ After the departure of the ships of the Russian Navy and the Chinese Navy from Vladivostok, a joint detachment was formed in the waters of Peter the Great Bay, which began moving along the route previously agreed by the parties.

▫️ The objectives of joint patrols are to strengthen naval cooperation between Russia and China, maintain peace and stability in the Asia-Pacific region, monitor the sea area and protect the objects of maritime economic activity of the Russian Federation and China.

▫️ During the patrol, the sailors of the two countries will practice actions in various formations, organize all types of defense of the detachment, replenish water and fuel on the move, solve anti-submarine tasks, and also carry out flights of deck helicopters with takeoffs and landings on the ships of the parties.

▫️ As part of the international detachment, the Russian Federation is represented by large anti-submarine ships "Admiral Tributs" and "Admiral Panteleev", corvettes "Thundering" and "Hero of the Russian Federation Aldar Tsydenzhapov", as well as the medium sea tanker "Pechenga". From the PLA Navy, destroyers Guiyang and Qiqihar, patrol ships Tongling and Rizhao, and the complex supply ship Taihu take part in the patrol.

▫️ During the patrol, the aircraft of the naval aviation of the Pacific Fleet and the aviation of the People's Liberation Army of China will interact with the crews of surface ships.

▫️ A few days earlier, the military sailors of Russia and China in the Sea of ​​Japan held a joint naval exercise "North / Interaction - 2023".
