After Call of Duty and Activision removed Nickmercs' skin/operator bundle from the stores of Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone, there was a lot of backlash from customers and fellow gamers.

However, there were the usual people trying to deplatform, censor, and silence Nickmercs after he made his statement about protecting the most innocent members of society.

With that being said though, I would say Nick came out looking better than ever. I have always been someone who has known of the streamer's presence but just automatically concluded in my head that he would be your typical "influencer" or "content creator" and by that I mean someone who lets the fame and fortune get to their head to the point where they betray their core values. I could not have been more wrong.

We need more people in the mainstream to speak out against cancel culture if we really want to see change in the world. As I go over in this video, on his stream, Nickmercs went on an insane rant about how we need to ignore these groups that wish to take away our voices.
