The Khazars converted en-masse to Talmudic Judaism in such numbers that today, most calling themselves "Jews" have nothing to do with the Biblical Hebrews or Israelites. Even the their religion is but a mangled inversion of Biblical Torah. How did this situation come about, and what are the implications for history?
