Skunk Admirers Celebrate Their Unique Pets In The Annual Skunk Festival

WITH their reputation for causing a stink, the skunk may seem like the most unlikely pet. But Deborah Cipriani keeps 50 of the animals in her own home. The 55-year-old, from North Ridgeville, Ohio, runs America's only rescue centre for domestic skunks. But it's not like any other shelter. The animals are given free reign of the five-bedroom house and they're even allowed to sleep on the bed. Deborah, a customer service worker, has to get up at 4.30 every morning just to feed and clean them all before she goes to work.
