🎹 Music to Relax and Gets into the Vortex Music Getting into the Vortex 🌌 - Piano Sound 🎧 60 minutes
Distract your brain with some suiting, relaxing music, then slowly guide you into the vortex. Keep breathing and notice any differences in how you feel – you may feel more relaxed, your body may start to tingle, you may feel your heart open, you may feel an old injury ache, as the energy moves through that area of your body for healing. And, you may simply just feel good! Feel all refreshed and replenished.

💎The benefits of relaxing music
Every three months, the APA (American Psychological Association) publishes a musicology journal updating the study related to this topic. Today we have at our disposal various experiments, research and theoretical works based on or related to experimental research that show us something that we had already intuited in our own way: music, and in particular relaxing music, has great cognitive, emotional and neurobiological benefits.
Let's take a look at some of these characteristics that are so positive for our well-being.
📍 1. Reduces stress
If we type the expression "relaxing music" in our Internet browser, we will get thousands of results. However, does this musical style have such a clear impact on our brain as to relieve stress? The answer is yes. What's more, a few years ago a group of researchers from the Mind Lab Institution, which specializes in neuroscience experiments, came up with a curious finding: the music that most relaxes heart rate, breathing and brain activity is the song "Weightless" by the British band Marconi Union.
📍 2. The sounds of nature improve our concentration
The sound of rain hitting the window, a rushing river, the ocean's relentless whisper against a reef, the whistle of birds, the sound of a whale... The sounds of nature have a cathartic effect on our bodies. It is like a return to our origins, an escape route, a channel that focuses us and frees us at the same time.
A few years ago, the BirdLife Focus Natura project carried out an interesting study in which it demonstrated that relaxing music, such as natural and animal sounds, improves the concentration and performance of children with ADHD (Attention Deficit Disorder with or without Hyperactivity).
📍 3. Reduces the sensation of pain
Listening to relaxing music during the postoperative period improves patient recovery and makes these moments a little more pleasant and less stressful. This may seem a little surprising, but as an article in Psychology Today explains, it is known that this type of music reduces the sensation of pain, gives us endorphins and even strengthens our immune response.
📍 4. Improves brain function
Our brain loves music. It is known, for example, that playing a musical instrument from childhood enhances brain development and even improves mathematical performance. Relaxing music is almost like a vitamin for our neurons, it immerses us in a mental state conducive to improving our reasoning and enhancing spatial-temporal abilities.
At the same time, it improves the interconnection between our hemispheres, favoring faster communication between our neurons.
📍 5. Your heart also appreciates a relaxing music session
We talked earlier about the benefits of listening to relaxing music during the post-operative period. In this case, it is also due to the extremely healthy impact it has on our heart: it reduces blood pressure and heart rate, the beats become more regular and rhythmic, arrhythmias are reduced and the patient feels calmer.
