Matthew 5:17 (KJV) - Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

Matthew 5:17 (ESV) - “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.

When Christians say that Jesus fulfilled the Law and that means that we don't have to keep it anymore (making null and of no effect), they're basically saying He abolished it.
