Trick or treat? Don’t you just love Halloween, tons of candies and dressing up? It’s the best! Halloween is one of the most exciting holidays were people decorate their houses, they make it scary, they scare people, they get candy, and they create the most amazing and impressive costumes.

On the night of October 31st hundreds of kids, toddlers and adults gather around, and some celebrate by throwing a party, watching horror movies, carving jack o’lantern, visiting haunted houses and have competitions who has the scariest house.

Well, if there is completion like that this house will take the first prize because it is genuinely terrifying. Check out this fantastic ghost decoration for Halloween. The face is an inverted plastic mask (the inside of the mask is facing you), creating an optical illusion that looks like the face is following you. The face is not actually moving! It will appear to look at you, no matter where you view it from!

The body of this costume is just a simple cloth dyed with fluorescent blue paint which is also used on the mask. To make it even scarier, there are some blacklights on either side of the inside of the window so it would light up the ghost at night. And if that was not scary enough, there are fans to make the cloth waiving around to have the appearance of moving and the effect is amazing.

We don’t know about you, but this mask is horror-struck. We can’t even imagine how people will react when they go to this house to have some candy. It will scare the bejesus out of some kids.

This scary mask is a great idea for Halloween next year! What was your costume this year? That’s all exciting and everything, but have you ever asked yourself, where does the origin of this holiday come from?

Two thousand years ago in Ireland, Halloween was established by some farmers which they celebrated the end of summer and start for productive winter. Celts believed that October 31st was the night when the souls of death came to visit the living to visit them and to get in contact with them.

To chase the dead souls aways and to have healthy crops, they would build big bonfires, and they would give sacrifices dressed with skins of animals and also wearing masks so they would look like the souls itself.

Their celebration in a form like the festival was called All Hallows Eve and today is called Halloween. This holiday is most popular in the United States when came from the Celts in the 19th century.

However, the skin of animals and the bonfires were replaced with Jack-O’-Lanterns, costumes, and candies. But, the origin of the festival and some traditions of it were kept.

Halloween is fun and entertaining, not just for kids but also for grown-ups because at least one day of the year they can leave they live and become whatever they want to be. Do you love Halloween?
