Bull Destroys 4x4 Vehicle During Festivities

No one ever said that traditions have to make sense, but we should respect them as they are, because they are a part of the foundations of people. They have been around for thousands of years and they might baffle us now, but back in the day there was a pretty sound explanation about their existence.

One of the most notorious traditions in the twenty-first century is the bullfighting. In the era of human awakening it seems quite contradictory to have people fighting for the rights of animals to exist on this planet peacefully next to us, while entire countries celebrate the slaughtering of other innocent animals as part of culture.

Bullfighting has been around for centuries as depicted in the Epic of Gilgamesh and it is closely related to bull worship and sacrifice. Although forbidden in many countries, it is still considered a cultural event mostly in the Iberian Peninsula and some countries in South America. The festivities include the Running of the Bull, also known as encierro, where bulls are run through the narrow streets of the city towards the bullfighting ring and then the corrida, or the main event where a matador enters the ring and lures the bull until he is able to injure him or kill him.

This footage shows us an encierro in Peñalver, Guadalajara, Spain that happened on July 1, 2016. People were running away from the angered animal, when he stumbled upon a 4x4 vehicle filled with people. He started smashing it with his horns, destroying the front right wheel and lifting it in the air.
