Hunter was all set to plead guilty to a few suspiciously low-penalty tax crimes in exchange for the dismissal of his federal gun crimes.
His deal appears to have fallen apart as the Delaware federal district Judge Maryellen Noreika finds concerns with the inconsistency of the deal.
“I don’t really understand the scope” of the agreement’s immunity provisions, Noreika said.
