First Ride since Accident! Exploring Hidden Places & Using New TomTom Rider 500 on BMW R 18 Cruiser

4 months after an awful accident, where The Ol' Man snapped his quadriceps tendon completely off the kneecap (patella), he goes out on the BMW R18 Cruiser Motorcycle for a first ride since the knee operation, exploring the beautiful backroads of rural Wales in the UK. The idea was to ride wherever he took a fancy, following his nose, and then, using the new Tom Tom Rider 500 SatNav to find his way home. Did it work?
The motorbike has been inside it's Carcoon Motorcycle Bubble for 4 months - how well did that perform keeping condensation off the bike?
On the journey, he passes some lovely old towns, villages and countryside, and ends up in a quaint old church, well off the beaten track.
The ride also served a purpose to test the equipment in readiness for the upcoming motorcycle reviews; good job too because there were a few problems!
