INCREDIBLE Urban Creek Trout Fishing! | Biggest Fish of 2022 (so far)

CATCHING BIG TROUT IN URBAN CREEKS!

Winter trout fishing is full of highs and lows. With temperatures hovering around 50 degrees Micah and I set out on the search for some wild rainbow trout. We knew that with the weather as warm as it was we had a good chance of finding a lot of fish, but size wasn't really on our mind. After a rough winter just catching any fish is a blessing. We had a rough morning but as the day went on the fishing got crazy. We had multiple double ups, some of which weren't even recorded, as we fished up several creeks.

We finally arrived at a run that was stacked with fish in the 10-12 inch range. After netting a half dozen or so I set into a giant rainbow trout. With some amazing teamwork Micah was able to net the fish and the celebration began! At 21 inches this is the biggest fish of the year for me, although I am sure I will catch many fish bigger than this one. Big wild rainbow trout are hard to come by in the eastern US, so I never take one for granted.
