Alicia Navarro FOUND ALIVE

Glendale, Arizona, 2019: 14 year old Alicia Navarro was autistic & had significant social anxiety.

Her social life was predominantly the online gaming world. She’d been acting out of character but her mother thought it was Alicia coming out of her shell.

With social anxiety & autism, plus normal teenage development, I think it’s fair to have interpreted it as growth when she started wearing body spray & dressing more provocatively (at least compared to her usual long sleeve sweatshirts).

September 15, 2019, just before her 15th birthday, she left a note for her mom that she was running away but would be back soon. She took her phone but not the charger, or her medication.

It seems clear she was groomed & lured by someone & snuck out with every intention to be home soon.

July 26, 2023, now 18, she walked into a Montana police station & identified herself.

“Alicia by all accounts appears to be in good spirits. She really just wants to move on with her life. She is very apologetic to what she has put her mother through. And she understands that she has caused a lot of pain to her mother, and it was not intentional on her behalf, and she is hopeful that they can have a relationship,” said Glendale public information officer Jose Santiago
