NORTH GEORGIA PART 5 - Georgia isn't really known for its trout fishing. However the Appalachian mountain range reaches as far south as Georgia and has some of the most beautiful water I've ever fished. North Georgia is the farthest south that trout can survive in the Southeast of America. These mountains are full of brown trout, rainbow trout, and brook trout (the only trout native to the area).

In this video we explored some new water and caught a ton of fish. This was the most fish we've caught in a single day all spring as we racked up 100 or more rainbow trout on the day. It was one of those days you dream about as a trout angler. We were in the middle of nowhere, by ourselves, with bugs hatching and trout biting. It doesn't get much better!
