My first time Tenkara Fly Fishing || My Review. (small stream trout fishing)

Tenkara Fly Fishing is arguably one of the most hated forms of fly fishing right now. I've gotten countless DM's since I posted a story with a Tenkara rod last week telling me I had changed. Even my own friends had a few choice words for me when I said I bought a Tenkara rod.

Which is exactly why I wanted to try it! In this video I reviewed Tenkara fly fishing after fishing with the rod for a few days and catching several brown trout and rainbow trout. I'm not saying it is the most effective technique but it is fun to use. It definitely won't become a main part of the channel but you'll definitely see it again.

It's funny to me how some forms of fishing get more hate than others. I remember not too many years ago everybody hated euro nymphing but now it is one of the fastest growing forms of fly fishing. I guess at the end of the day we all just want to have fun out on the water, and if you have fun using Tenkara then more power to you.
