Winter Trout Fishing Is TOUGH || "Below Zero - A Weekend Adventure"

BELOW ZERO - A WEEKEND ADVENTURE!

In this video Micah and I decided to explore some new water despite the fact that the weather had been horrible for the past week. With night time temperature plummeting below zero across the north east, trout fishing became a game of finding open water. Even after finding some open water the fishing was tough, with only a handful of rainbow trout being caught along with one brown trout. Fly fishing in these extreme conditions can be rewarding, but with lines, guides, and even flies freezing solid it can also be very frustrating.
