The White River is known as one of the best brown trout fisheries in the world. In fact Cotter, Arkansas is known as the "Trout Capital of the USA" as thousands of people a year flock to the various rivers in the area in search of a trophy sized brown trout. The world record brown trout has even been broken twice in Arkansas, although the record is currently held in New Zealand.

In Part 5 of "TROUT CAPITAL OF THE USA" my brother and I chase after world class brown trout with huge streamers. We set our hopes low for the 7th day of fishing and as our morning went by pretty uneventful it just confirmed what we had already assumed. Not only that but I had broken my fly line making it impossible for me to streamer fish. Luckily we were able to turn it around in our last afternoon.
