The White River is known as one of the best brown trout fisheries in the world. In fact Cotter, Arkansas is known as the "Trout Capital of the USA" as thousands of people a year flock to the various rivers in the area in search of a trophy sized brown trout. The world record brown trout has even been broken twice in Arkansas, although the record is currently held in New Zealand.

In Part 3 of "TROUT CAPITAL OF THE USA" my brother and I chase after world class brown trout with huge streamers. Our third day on the river started off a bit different than usual with us visiting the fly shop to get more flies. After getting on the river I caught only my third tiger trout of all time and the first in 3 years and Andrew caught a 22 inch brown trout. Overall it was a good day on the river, or at the very least it was better than the previous day.
