FISHING MISERABLE WINTER STORM CONDITIONS!!

Trout fishing in the winter can be a challenge regardless of the weather. But add in a huge snowstorm followed by torrential rain and it can seem down right impossible. Luckily on this day I was able to make something out of nothing and caught some beautiful brook trout and rainbow trout on the fly. Fly fishing in these conditions is no easy task, but euro nymphing won the day with any sort of green flies being the go to.

Shortly after I stopped fishing the creeks raised to near flood levels and weren't fishable for a day or more. I guess fishing after the storm from wasn't even really an option. I hope you enjoyed!!
