It is always a task and my house has a big mess for several weeks before VBS and a week or two after VBS. Today I purposed to get the costumes put away since everyone returned their costumes in good time this year.

It is my job to assign the costumes to each person who participates in our church Patriotic VBS program. We have been doing a Patriotic theme now for 5 years teaching early American history. We try to add something new and introduce new characters each year. I distribute the costumes and then wait to collect them all back before storing them away. I usually have to do a little bit of mending and I wash the ones that need to be cleaned. Some people wash them for me.
