Officer Throws Woman To The Ground | LA Police Bodycam Footage

June 24, 2023, footage emerged showing a Los Angeles police officer grabbing a woman with cancer by the neck, then slamming her to the ground outside a grocery store before pepper spraying her.

According to LA Police, officers were responding to a call about an in-progress robbery at the WinCo Foods in Lancaster, when they came across the couple who they claim matched the suspects' descriptions.

Footage shows the unnamed Deputy throw the woman to the ground, then put his knee on her neck after she filmed him and another officer arresting her husband.

The witness who filmed the altercation, Lisa Michelle Garrett, stated the couple was upset 'for being accused of stealing.

Investigation into the officers conduct is ongoing.
