Florida governor Ron DeSantis just signed a bill into Florida law that prevents automakers from selling cars direct to consumer. This bill exempts full-electric automakers like Tesla though, who are still able to sell their cars direct to consumers. The bill requires most automakers to sell their inventory to franchised dealerships, which those dealerships are banned from using the MSRP price, which means they will likely be priced even higher.
