Wildfires ravage Italy and greater Mediterranean

Wildfires have devastated Italy and neighboring Meditteranean areas, forcing tens of thousands to evacuate. Over forty deaths have been recorded and the fear that casualties will increase rises as extreme heat and poor air quality persist. However, thousands of dispatched firefighters working to contain the fires effectively save land and give hope.
