Whose Words Are YOU HEARING Most Clearly?

A wise Indian chief was asked what inspired or led him to be the great leader that he was and he told the interviewer of two voices which he'd heard in his spirit - one was the great eagle and the other savage blood seeking wolf - the eagle spoke of strength in peace, yet a warrior who saw greatness in doing good, righteous things that pleased the Creator; while the wolf spoke of selfishness, ambition, greatness at the expense of others; to which the interviewer asked which was the voice he chose to hear the most -

The Chief replied simply and sincerely, with great conviction and firmness: "The one I choose to feed the most." He went on to explain that whichever he chose to spend the most of his time and energy with and listen to and hear, that is who influenced and guided him.

Whose voice are you paying most attention to in your life? Self? God? or the things and cares of this world?
