Dash Cam: Kenosha County Sheriff Pursuit of Retail Theft Suspects

A deputy with the Kenosha County Sheriff's Department conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle that had been involved in a theft at Walmart on December 7, 2022. The deputy made contact with the driver who claimed she did not have any ID. The deputy walked back to his squad and the vehicle took off from the stop at a high rate of speed and a pursuit ensued.

Officers with the Pleasant Prairie Police Department assisted with the pursuit and used tire deflation devices on the vehicle on Interstate 94 near the Illinois-Wisconsin State Line. The female driver and male passenger were taken into custody without incident and transported to the Kenosha County Jail. The female had three felony warrants and other open cases. The male had an open misdemeanor case and was not to have contact with the female. Stolen merchandise from Walmart was found in the vehicle.
