DANGER CLOSE-FIGHT UNTIL WE'RE DEAD-THOM SHEA

Retired US Navy SEAL Thom Shea @Thomasshea recalls an intense gunfight with the Taliban in the mountains of Afghanistan where he and his teammates were out of ammunition and surrounded by the enemy. Thom was forced to call in air support/Danger Close. Thom describes how fear and resignation crept into the minds of him and his teammates and the mindset shift that led them to regroup and stay in the fight (with the help of some very large bombs from above).
