2K's First NFL Game

Sega's 1999 release of NFL 2K was special. So special, in fact, that it made all previous NFL games, including every previous version of Madden, look like trash. For its time, NFL 2K was the greatest NFL video game of all time, and over the next few years, the series only got better and better. It’s interesting to wonder where NFL 2K would be today if the NFL allowed competition.
