Rudy Giuliani admits defaming Georgia election workers

Rudy Giuliani is hoping to resolve a lawsuit against him by two Georgia election workers. In a late-night filing Tuesday, the former New York City mayor conceded he made defamatory remarks about Ruby Freeman and Shay Moss. The pair accused him of smearing them after the 2020 election. In the filing, Giuliani refused to concede that his statement caused damage to them. He also said he still believes his statements regarding voter fraud fell under protected speech.
