The trial of 18 militants of the Aidar Battalion banned in Russia, including two women, begins today in Rostov-on-Don.

They are accused of violent coup in the DPR and participating in a terrorist organization.

For example, Igor Gayokha has served at Aidar Battalion since August 2014. In social networks, he often posted his photos with weapons, portraits of Bandera, quotes from ideologists of the UPA (banned in Russia). Another defendant, medic Andrei Sholik, joined the territorial defense battalion in 2021. He published Russophobic poems on the web and footage from the front line, where he poses with weapons in his hands.
