DuPont’s Lock Masters House in Washington Bottom, WV

DuPont used this house as a locking facility and would house a family here. Called the Lock Masters House, this family would be responsible for Lock 19. This prevented chemicals from spilling into the river.
We will follow up with another video where you can see another pumping mechanism outside, near the Lewis Cemetery and the now burned bamboo forest.
The house had people living there from 1916-2013. In just one decade you can see how the house has been littered with graffiti and gang activity.
