We just can’t tell who’s more excited to be in the other’s company. The baby giggles and flashes a huge toothless smile, while the dog runs up and down the house, zooming around with happiness. The louder the giggles get, the faster the zoomies go! Each time this pup passes by the baby, you get the feeling that it will smack it down to the ground, but it seems that the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel knows perfectly well how close he can get to just tickle the baby’s nose with his huge, floppy ears. They are so adorable!

Cavalier King Charles Spaniel dogs might not be very energetic dogs (this one seems to be an unusual exception) but one thing they are very good at, and that is kids! Cavaliers can be great playmates for kids who will enjoy throwing a ball for them, teaching them tricks, participating in dog sports, or simply having them on a lap while they read or watch television. Because of their small size, however, they should be supervised when playing with small children who might injure them accidentally.
