Perhaps more intriguing than the White House decision to evade a FOIA and the Courts that might compel it to answer are the courts that, for two years, had permitted that checks and balances of a government of separated powers experience redundant failures, while the cry in the free press was all about how democracy was at stake, at least regarding elections, in districts that are so lopsided that only on the rarest occasions does anyone other than the predominant party prevail, like incumbents who are re-elected 95% of the time. And with reports of two young celebrities with a wave of health problems, maybe from returning too fast to that rigorous seize the day carpe diem before the pandemic was a little too much strain on the cardiovascular, the Day One conspiracy theorist is going after everything in sight from human challenge study recruiters claiming to have ethics to top private colleges with apparently misoriented priorities.
