Stand Up Guys is a 2012 American black comedy crime film directed by Fisher Stevens and starring Al Pacino, Christopher Walken, and Alan Arkin. The film was released in North America on February 1, 2013. The term "Stand up guy" is an American phrase meaning a loyal and reliable friend.[6]

The film follows two old buddies reunited after one gets out of prison. The other is under coercion by a crime boss to kill him in revenge and is given the deadline of the next morning. The two embark on a series of social and crime experiences along with a third buddy throughout the night and early hours of the next day, making it harder for the other buddy to carry out the order.
