Ukraine carried out drone attack on Moscow, officials say

According to a Kyiv official who spoke to CNN, Ukrainian forces were responsible for the drone strikes that took place in Moscow early on Monday.

The official, representing Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence, stated that their agency conducted the operation, which Russia referred to as a “terrorist attack of the Kiev regime,” using the Russian spelling for Ukraine’s capital.

The Kyiv official requested anonymity as they had not been authorized to speak publicly about the incident.

However, Ukraine’s minister of Digital Transformation, Mykhailo Fedorov, also claimed responsibility for the attack, CNN has reported.
